You can get a library card by visiting any of the Blue City Public Library locations with your current ID. Library cards are available for free to anyone who lives in the state of Valenites that wants one!
Yes. All library branches have free Wi-Fi available for anyone 24/7.
No. Overdue fines have been eliminated since January 2020. You will only be fined if an item has not been returned after a month past its due date.

Is there a book you want, that we don't have? No problem! You can request an interlibrary loan to see if we can obtain the book for you from another library. At this time, only books, DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks can be requested through the interlibrary loan service. This service is free to anyone with a BCPL library card, unless the library we borrow from requests additional fees. Interlibrary loans do not have renewals and must be returned by the due date, otherwise you will be fined $1 per day overdue.

Is there a book you want, that we don't have? No problem! You can suggest us to purchase the item you want. Please limit your requests to 10 items per month. Any additional requests will be ignored.

The BCPL seed library allows patrons to check out up to 3 seeds at a time to plant at home! Checked out seeds will stay on your account for a week before being automatically checked in again. Seed libraries can be found at the following branches:

Culture passes allow library patrons to visit participating museums and venues for free! Families are limited to having 1 culture pass at a time. Culture passes are valid for 1 week for 2 people. After 1 week, the pass will be removed from your account and it will no longer be valid. Culture passes are available at all BCPL branches. Here are the current participating culture pass venues:
- Black Canyon Art Museum
- Black Canyon Botanical Garden
- Black Canyon Zoo
- Challenger Space Center
- Jake's Unlimited
All Blue City Public Library locations have public printers. Printing costs $0.25 per black and white page and $1 per colored page. Additionally, all BCPL printers are capable of mobile printing, so you can print from your phones too.
